01Who we are
Fyneta (“we,” “us”) is a web design business based in Colorado, USA. We run fyneta.com and are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us at hi@fyneta.com.
02Information we collect
Information you give us
- Checkout: the package you choose, your email, and your name if you provide it. Stripe collects your payment details and billing information directly.
- Onboarding: your business name, trade, city, state and service area; your name, phone and email; your current website and social profiles; your style preferences, launch timing and any notes.
- Free concept requests: similar business and contact details, so we can prepare your concept.
- Messages: anything you send us by email, including photos and files.
Payment information
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number. Stripe shares limited details with us, such as your name, email, billing country or postal code, the amount paid, and your card brand and last four digits, so we can manage your order and billing.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data: our hosting provider records standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability.
- Analytics and advertising tags: when enabled, we use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, the Meta Pixel and the TikTok Pixel. They use cookies or similar technology to measure visits, understand how people use the Site, and tell us which ads lead to inquiries and purchases.
- Campaign details: if you arrive from an ad or link with campaign tags (such as
utm_source), we keep them in your browser for your visit and attach them to any order or request you submit. - Saved progress: your browser saves your progress on our forms, so you don't lose your answers if you leave the page. It stays on your device until you submit the form.
03How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- design, build, launch, host and support your website, and provide Fyneta Care;
- process payments, subscriptions and refunds, and keep business and tax records;
- communicate with you about your project, your account and your requests;
- prepare free concepts you request;
- understand how the Site is used and measure how well our advertising works;
- protect the Site and our customers, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.
We don't send marketing newsletters unless you ask for them. If we ever do, every email will include a way to unsubscribe.
If you're in a region that requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and improving our business, your consent (for example, for advertising cookies where required), and compliance with legal obligations.
05How long we keep information
- Customers: for as long as we're working together, and then up to 3 years so we can support your site and answer questions.
- Payment and tax records: as long as the law requires, usually 7 years.
- Free concept requests and inquiries that don't become projects: up to 2 years.
06Your choices about cookies and ads
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we don't load the Meta or TikTok advertising pixels.
- Browser settings: you can block or delete cookies in your browser. The Site still works without them.
- Opt-out tools: the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and the ad settings in your Google, Meta and TikTok accounts.
- Ask us: email hi@fyneta.com to opt out of targeted advertising and we'll honor it.
07Your privacy rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to access, correct, delete or send you a copy of your personal information, or to stop using it for targeted advertising. Residents of states with privacy laws, including Colorado and California, have these rights by law, and we extend them to everyone.
- To make a request, email hi@fyneta.com from the address we have on file, or tell us enough to verify who you are.
- We'll respond within 45 days, and tell you if we need more time.
- If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision. If you're still not satisfied, you can contact your state attorney general.
- We won't treat you differently for exercising your rights.
Some information we have to keep, such as payment and tax records, or anything needed to complete an active project. We'll explain if that applies.
08Security
We protect your information with encrypted connections (HTTPS), payment handling by a PCI-compliant processor, and a database configured so that the Site can submit information but can't read it back publicly. Access is limited to the people who need it to serve you. No system is perfectly secure, so if we ever learn of a breach that affects you, we'll notify you as required by law.
09Children
The Site and our Services are for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.
10International visitors
We're based in the United States, and our service providers process information in the US. If you visit from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US.
11Changes to this policy
We'll update this policy if our practices change, and revise the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll give customers notice by email. Related terms are in our Terms of Service and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
